Fatima is responsible for overseeing the development of cross-platform documentaries and factual series, as well as scripted, podcast, digital and talent partnerships.

With over 15 years of experience devising award-winning factual formats, returning series, and documentary singles: Fatima is one of the most sought-after development brains in the industry. She thrives on gaining access to institutions and is passionate about telling factual stories with a nod to diversity. Fatima is a former Broadcast Hot Shot and was selected as Breakthrough Leader in 2021. 

Most recently, she headed the development team at ITN Productions, where over 800 hours were produced across the year. Over her career, she’s been instrumental in securing commissions for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Paramount Plus, Peacock, and A+E Network, amongst others.

During her time at DARE Pictures, the former journalist has already secured a trio of commissions across current affairs, digital and an upcoming documentary series. As well as serving as an Executive Producer on projects like THE SECRETS OF UK PRISONS for Channel 4. She’s also secured a series of paid developments from broadcasters and SVODs.
